Website Makeover CASE STUDY

Here are some excerpts from a recent website makeover project:

let's Make Your Website LOOK Like You

If you have established logos, colors, and fonts, it’s a piece of cake to center every aspect of the site around those brand identities. If you don’t already have them in place, I can create them for you. Using your branding creates a framework for the look and feel of your site, but it is only a shell until your personality (or your company’s personality) is put into the mix. The same logos and colors can be used to create web pages that are either sterile, zany, corporate, edgy, folksy, or something else – it all depends on the way you see your business and the way you communicate with your customers and clients.

let's Make Your Website SOUND Like You

To get to know you quickly so I can speak with your voice, my favorite little tool is a questionnaire. It’s a simple little Google Form, that asks a wide variety of weird questions. Believe it or not, if you choose to answer all of the questions, I have a pretty good idea where to start in remodeling or creating your home page. By the time HOME is drafted and tweaked until you love it, I will know enough about you to write your about page and all of the other content you need – without a lot of re-writes.

The sample below includes some basic questions. Keep in mind that everything I do is custom and unique – including your questionnaire. I will add or remove questions based on the deliverables you want and your industry, location, and other factors.

Template for My Custom Client Questionnaire

None of these questions is required, but the answers to all are helpful to me so I can get inside your head enough to write with your voice, use the tone you wish to convey, and make the overall presentation an extension of you and your personality. We want your clients to see you as professional and knowledgeable, yet easy to talk to with a lot of personality.

Thanks for your input!
